Be held, in all of who you are.

Trans-centered and trauma-informed mental health care

Dee Church, LLMSW (she/they)

My whole “thing”

It’s frustrating when we can’t talk about what’s going on without there being a million thoughts rushing through our heads about how we’re being perceived; the doubts and questions in our own minds building up because we don’t want anyone to use those thoughts against us in some way.

  • Perhaps you’re a trans person navigating sexual relationships and are uncomfortable with how your body is being treated, but don’t know how to set boundaries and seek pleasure for yourself

  • Maybe you are a couple who is newly exploring polyamory/non-monogamy but are constantly becoming emotionally overwhelmed

  • And maybe you’ve experienced a great deal of trauma, but don’t want your therapist to always be tying it back to your trans-ness, kinkiness, or queerness (or maybe you do. I’m not your therapist — yet)

I get that. And I’m hoping we can make a space where you can let it all out and trust I will be there to hold it for you, with joy and understanding.

My name is Dee Church (she/they)

I am a white, trans femme, able-bodied, and neurodivergent clinical social worker and sex educator who focuses on queer and trans-centered care.

I have experience providing services to LGBTQ+ youth and adults, people living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence, kink/BDSM practitioners, people in polyamorous and non-monogamous partnerships, and sex workers.

In my free time (though, who is truly free under capitalism?), I like to practice guitar, read about chess, and annoy my partner with endless puns.

Providing you with space to relax
